Oceaneering Earns 2025 Military Friendly® Employer Designation

Houston, Texas – Oceaneering International, Inc., announces today that it has earned the 2025 Gold Military Friendly® Employer designation. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Oceaneering has been recognized as a Military Friendly® Employer and the first year it has earned the Gold designation.

Oceaneering is an authorized U.S. Department of Defense SkillBridge organization. The program offers an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprentices, or internships during the last 180 days of service. Oceaneering works with all branches of U.S. military services, and respective installation commanders, to develop SkillBridge training programs for their personnel. We offer active-duty service members – with transferable skills and experience – approved unpaid internship opportunities for in-demand career fields with a high probability of post-service employment.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® Employers designation were evaluated using public data and a proprietary survey, with over twelve hundred companies participating. The Gold designation is awarded to companies scoring within 20 percent of the 10th ranking employer in their category.

Methodology, criteria, and weightings for the designation were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for Recruitment, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion and Advancement of veterans and military employees.
