The Middle East is one of the world’s largest oil and gas producing regions. Present in the region since 1983, Oceaneering provides asset integrity and inspection services, pipeline repair and connection products, project management, tooling and other services.

Oceaneering remains committed to increasing our regional capabilities in the Middle East. Our regional office is situated in the heart of the city at Al Masaood Tower on Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi. Our warehouse facility in Mussafah provides ample space for the expansion of local services, such as pipeline integrity solutions and decommissioning services. We also have site offices in Muscat, Oman, and Doha, Qatar.

Purpose-Built Facility

Our integrated, purpose-built facility in Abu Dhabi includes an enclosed warehouse, overhead crane, storage room, equipment and readily available and expertly trained personnel. Our operations are led by our local subsidiary Oceaneering OiS WLL.

Setting the standard in the oil and gas industry, Oceaneering’s experienced instructors provide internal and external candidates with first-class training. In Abu Dhabi, our rope access technicians train to all levels on purpose-built towers prior to appraisal by an IRATA-qualified assessor.

In 1964, Mike Hughes and Johnny Johnson formed a Gulf of Mexico diving company called World Wide Divers. The company grew in response to increasing demand for their services and in 1969 merged with two other diving companies to form Oceaneering International, Inc.
