Precision Positioning and Autonomous Survey—Supported by 25 Years of C-Nav®

At Oceanology International, Oceaneering will showcase 25 years of C-Nav® GNSS positioning innovation, alongside advanced Survey, Geoscience, and Autonomous Survey solutions for ocean science and offshore operations.

C-Nav® LEO, delivered via Iridium® low Earth orbit satellites with trusted L-band communication, provides high-accuracy, pole-to-pole GNSS corrections with continuous coverage—even in harsh weather, high latitudes, and congested environments. Integrated through the C-NavX3™ receiver, C-Nav supports seamless integration with vessel navigation, station-keeping, and survey systems.

Survey, Geoscience and Autonomous Capabilities

Oceaneering delivers high-quality seabed and sub-seabed data across diverse marine applications, including:

  • Geophysical and hydrographic surveys
  • AUV-based survey and mapping
  • Geohazard, archaeological, and pipeline surveys
  • Government, academic, and marine construction projects

Integrated Autonomous Survey & SIMOPS

Our Integrated Autonomous Survey Services combine USVs and AUVs to enable simultaneous operations (SIMOPS)—improving safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key benefits:

  • Reduced offshore exposure and improved safety
  • Fewer vessel days and lower emissions
  • Faster mobilization and flexible deployment
  • Near real-time data streamed to shore

Next-Generation AUV Technology

Oceaneering will also highlight Hugin Superior 6000, a deepwater AUV designed for high-resolution seabed mapping and precise positioning at depths up to 6,000 meters, supporting geophysical, hydrographic, and environmental missions.
