Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) traditional business is developing and operating unique marine systems for military and commercial customers. OTECH establishes a shared set of expectations with our customers and then meets those expectations. We are innovators rather than inventors and meet our Customers’ unique requirements by innovative application of existing technologies and field-proven hardware components. We are “faster to field” than others in our industry, our typical development/delivery cycle is often completed in 12-15 months.
OTECH performs a wide range of engineering and offshore services through three specialized groups: Marine Systems, Marine Projects, and OTECH-Nauticos. Each group has assembled a team of distinctly qualified personnel to provide the necessary blend of skills required to successfully develop one of a kind systems or to provide engineering analysis or operational support. Otech’s expertise is derived from years of hands-on experience and has been demonstrated on complex programs such as the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Rescue Diving and Recompression System (SRDRS) and the Office of Naval Research’s Seabasing Programs. Technical capabilities span the entire engineering and offshore operations spectrum, including program management, mechanical, designers, electrical, electronics, control, naval architecture, information technology, data exploitation and analysis, integrated logistic support services, and offshore search and recovery. These skills have been demonstrated in successfully delivered systems including manned submersibles, remotely operated vehicles, saturation diving systems, vehicle launch and recovery systems, advanced environmental containment systems, advanced offshore cranes, pressure vessels for human occupancy, and life support system design, maintenance and operation.
OTECH’s corporate culture is to work closely with our Customers to refine program requirements, efficiently apply our technical expertise to quickly understand the complexity and challenges associated with a marine environment project and deliver a high quality product and service that meets requirements.
