Oceaneering Australia recently welcomed Matthew O’Sullivan, Senator for Western Australia, and Mihael McCoy, State Candidate for Jandakot, to our Jandakot, Perth, facility on June 24, 2020.
Both O’Sullivan and McCoy visited the facility as part of their initiative to learn about new businesses and industries within their electorates. They visited Oceaneering to learn more about our capabilities, including our workshop space, and our workforce training programs.
At the facility, O’Sullivan and McCoy met with met with Jason Hughes, Director of Oceaneering Projects Group – Asia Pacific; Brian Wardlaw, Country Manager – Australia; and Brendan Adams, workshop supervisor.
“It was our pleasure to show Matthew O’Sullivan, Senator for Burt and Fremantle in Western Australia, and Mihael McCoy, State Candidate for Jandakot, around Oceaneering’s facility in Jandakot,” Hughes said. “They both took a keen interest in our local capabilities and were duly impressed with the scale of our facility and service offerings to the oil and gas Industry.”
The Jandakot facility serves as Oceaneering’s Asia Pacific regional headquarters. The facility features assembly bays, pressure testing bays, functional testing bays, electrical workshop, inspection areas, light machining, CNC machining, and additional services. Our offices also provide a range of internal learning and development opportunities from safety training to ongoing certifications.
