Houston, Texas - Oceaneering International, Inc.\u00a0(\u201cOceaneering\u201d) announced today that it has secured\u00a0multi-discipline offshore survey contract<\/span>s<\/span> for its\u00a0Ozeanintervention II <\/em><\/a><\/strong>(OI2<\/em>)<\/span>\u00a0vessel, supporting major offshore development programs\u00a0for a large international operator.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the contract, OI2 will deliver integrated geophysical, geotechnical, and autonomous survey services offshore Trinidad and the\u00a0U.S. Gulf. The program\u00a0commenced\u00a0in\u00a0April 2026\u00a0and\u00a0is expected to\u00a0span approximately\u00a06 months, with options for\u00a0additional\u00a0work and extensions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Offshore Trinidad, the work scope includes 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition, high-resolution and ultra-high-resolution seismic surveys,\u00a0seabed\u00a0mapping,\u00a0and geotechnical investigations. Geotechnical activities include seabed sampling using box\u00a0cores\u00a0and piston cores. The scope also encompasses autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) surveys in deeper water areas, as well as shallow-water surveys using towed conventional geophysical systems. Operations in Trinidad are expected to last approximately\u00a0four\u00a0months.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the\u00a0U.S. Gulf, OI2 will perform\u00a0geotechnical investigations,\u00a0AUV-based block surveys,\u00a0and pipeline inspection activities. Pipeline inspections will incorporate non-contact cathodic protection measurement technology integrated with the AUV.\u00a0U.S.\u00a0Gulf\u00a0operations are expected to span approximately\u00a0two\u00a0months, with options for\u00a0additional\u00a0site and block surveys.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This campaign provides Oceaneering the opportunity to expand its track record in the OI2\u2019s operating model for offshore gleichzeitige Abl\u00e4ufe<\/a>, by combining geophysical and geotechnical technologies with USV-supported AUV survey operations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Owned\u00a0by Oceaneering, OI2 was purpose-built for geophysical and geotechnical surveys and\u00a0<\/span>underwent significant upgrades in early 2025<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to support simultaneous, multi-discipline survey operations. These enhancements\u2014including survey system upgrades, dedicated launch and recovery capability for autonomous systems, and modernized data infrastructure\u2014enable efficient, integrated survey execution across complex offshore programs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
