Integrity Management

We enable better decision making by helping you find the balance between cost and risk associated with your operations.

Why adopt an integrity management program?

We use data to optimize performance. We apply the same concepts that have driven success in other industries by using state-of-the-art analytics and engineering methods to generate optimized inspection and maintenance plans tailored to meet your requirements.
  • Set priorities and make OPEX spending decisions
  • Reduce routine inspection requirements, extend asset life, and identify unforeseen threats
  • Manage assets efficiently
  • Leverage the use of data
  • Digitize to increase access

Why Oceaneering?

When you choose us to oversee your integrity and maintenance management plans, you benefit from our decades of experience in topsides, hulls, and subsea infrastructure.

We recognize that topsides and subsea systems require different approaches and use different data sets for health monitoring. We understand that all downtime—no matter the equipment or industry—hits the bottom line.

Our integrity management (IM) approach delivers a holistic, comprehensive view of the condition of assets, and enables better decision making. Assets from hulls, moorings, topside piping, topside structures to pipelines, risers, and subsea controls benefit from IM and the ability to target required inspection, reduce inspection costs, and assure an asset’s regulatory compliance.

Maintaining Production and Mitigating Risk

IM is a recursive and recurring engineering process of making a plan, gathering data, and updating the plan based on what’s needed rather than on what has been mandated or adopted as a matter of cause.

We support the complete lifecycle of your assets—from front-end engineering design (FEED) studies through asset life extension and decommissioning. Whether it is a plan for a small group of assets or a turnkey, system-wide IM strategy, we apply our expertise to ensure the optimization of decision making surrounding your assets’ integrity.

  • We capture, relate, analyze, and inform large—and small—datasets.
  • We use the industrial internet to change how priorities are set and unlock cost savings not possible with traditional, paper-based approaches.
  • We combine risk-based assessment, non-destructive testing (NDT), and visual inspections with advanced algorithms, engineering analysis, and visualization to make pragmatic, value-adding recommendations.

Tailored Integrity Management Programs

oceaneering, integrity management, inspection, asset integrity, global, identify, categorize, reevaluate
The output of our IM process is to identify the best methods and the optimized frequency of inspection for reducing costs while maintaining your assets in their best-possible state.
We offer tailored programs for subsea asset integrity, structural integrity, and process plant integrity.

Integrity Engineering Services

We enable you to leverage data and effectively use analytics and modeling to proactively manage risk, assess reliability, and schedule maintenance.
We use data to uncover patterns used to build predictive models quantifying the probability of failure, and to develop the algorithms and analytical methods used to generate optimized asset management programs.

Due Diligence and Newbuild Projects

Meeting your OPEX and CAPEX inspection requirements
While nearly all inspection is OPEX-funded, we understand the requirement for CAPEX inspection for newbuild projects and support your life-of-field requirements, from concept through decommissioning.

For greenfield developments still being designed and constructed, we can create integrity management manuals, prepare strategy and inspection documentation, and populate inspection and databases before first production.

For late-life assets, we can provide you with data-room or due-diligence checks, thus reducing corporate risk during asset disposal.

Company page Since our founding in the early 1960s, Oceaneering has expanded and grown globally to service several industries such as the offshore energy industry, defense, entertainment, material handling, aerospace, science, and renewable energy industries. In 1964, Mike Hughes and Johnny Johnson formed a Gulf of Mexico diving company called World Wide Divers. The company grew in response to increasing demand for their services and in 1969 merged with two other diving companies to form Oceaneering International, Inc. To solve the toughest challenges, we do things differently, creatively, and smarter. As your trusted partner, our unmatched experience and truly innovative portfolio of technologies and solutions give us the flexibility to adapt and evolve, regardless of market conditions. Our mission is to solve the unsolvable. We thrive by creating industry-changing technically creative solutions for the most complex operational challenges under water, on land, and in space. Our five core values establish a common culture and demonstrate what is most important for us as a company. Since the beginning, the company has transformed from a small regional diving company into a global provider of engineered products and services. Today, we develop products and services for use throughout the lifecycle of an offshore oilfield, from drilling to decommissioning. We operate the world's premier fleet of work class ROVs. Additionally, we are a leader in offshore oilfield maintenance services, umbilicals, subsea hardware, and tooling. We also serve the aerospace, defense, and theme park industries. Underpinning everything we do, safety is not only the foundation of our core values, but it is vital to our unmatched performance record and company culture. The industries we serve are as diverse as they are complex. Whether we are engineering deepwater umbilicals or developing robotics for aerospace applications, the safety and health of our employees, vendors, and customers is an integral part of our day-to-day business. If we are working, then our responsibility is to be working safely. Since our inception in 1964, we have placed a high value on employee safety—from diving services and subsea inspection to vessel-based installation operations. We have and will continue to evolve not only our health, safety, and environmental (HSE) processes, but those of the industries in which we work. Although we have been fatality-free since 1999, our HSE journey goes beyond statistics. As our portfolio of services has grown, we have continued to prioritize and advance our approach to HSE.
