Oceaneering International, Inc., formed the Oilfield Projects Group (OPG) as a turnkey marine contracting organization to contract, manage, engineer, plan, and execute small to mid-size deepwater projects utilizing Oceaneering resources with the primary focus on the installation of subsea tiebacks in the Gulf of Mexico. OPG focuses on managing, scheduling, and operating Oceaneering's two Dynamically Positioned (DP-2) Ocean Intervention Multiservice Vessels (MSV's).

Ocean Inspector

Oceaneering’s 2004 new build Ocean Inspector is designed to support inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) work and is ideally suited for the underwater inspection work required of Gulf of Mexico operators in water depths to 300 fsw. The 130 ft, state-of-the-art, diving support vessel (DSV) has built in diving equipment, dive control, and decompression chambers that free ample clear deck space for safe working conditions and job specific equipment.

The Ocean Intervention is one of Oceaneering’s dynamically positioned (ABS DP Class 2) multi-service vessels (MSVs).
