Operating Condition / Engineering Loads
The Under Roller System has been designed and manufactured for use both on land and offshore. The following parameters were used for the design:
- Environment: Indoor and Outdoor, 100% humidity, NEMA 4,4X.
- Temperature: 10 – 130 degrees Fahrenheit (ambient tropical)
- Loads: .75G lateral direction, 1.5G vertical direction, 30o vessel roll.
- Maximum Reel Weight: 300 US Tons, equally distributed.
- Pull-Down System
- The Pull-Down System can be pinned to the side beam of the Under Roller to add virtual load to the reel.
- Pull Capacity: 150,000 lbs. per side @ 3000 psi
- Wire Rope: 1.50 dia. 6 x 41 construction, 404.0″ ID choke
- Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) Also see section 5 for additional HPU details
- Working Pressure: 3000 psi
- Electrical: 460v, 3 Phase, with soft start, (2) 100 Hp motors
- General: (2) Swash plate pumps (for drive rollers) (1) positive displacement pump (for cylinders)
- Controls: Pneumatic, on detachable console
- Hoses: 50 Ft. length
- Oil and Reservoir: ISO 32 Hydraulic Oil, 125 Gallon capacity.
