Oceaneering’s No. 1 priority is the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, customers, contractors and the public. Our commitment to safety is underpinned by our HSE policy.

We are very proud of our HSE record – which demonstrates how our safety performance has improved steadily in recent years. Last year was another record year for safety at OUS, with record lows for recordable incident and days away from work/incidence rates.

We have always believed that safety is important and we are constantly looking for ways to increase safety at our plants. One improvement we implemented in 2011 involves overlapping employee work schedules to allow for sharing of production information with the following shift. This not only improved communication, but it also improved the overall safety of the work environment.

OUS is always looking for ways to improve proactive measures to help improve product quality or prevent an injury before an incident occurs. Our employees and contractors are well aware of their responsibility to safety and are fully supportive of our HSE policy.
