Oceaneering’s Packer Seals are two stage high pressure seals which operate in both static and dynamic modes. The initial or static seal is accomplished by means of a wave spring which acts on the seal retainer shoulder. The dynamic or secondary seal is by means of pressure energization via radial porting in the body of the seal.
