Oceaneering International, Inc. (OII) was contracted to isolate and repair two swivel flanges on a 12" gas pipeline off the coast of California. Oceaneering divers operated an OII WASP Atmospheric Diving System (ADS), a one man submersible with intervention capabilities to 2,300 fsw. Although weather was an initial concern, the operations were completed in a safe and timely manner and without interruption to the pipeline's production schedule. For further information on Oceaneering's WASP ADS or other diving services, contact Phil McNabb at: Phone: (985) 395-5247 |
