OSS manufactures the thermal curtains for the Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster (SRB). We performed the DDT&E, manufacturing, and installation of tile and blanket Systems for the NASA/Lockheed-Martin X-33, the NASA/Orbital Sciences X-34, and Kistler’s K-1 vehicle. We also developed and delivered certified NDE inspection systems for the Space Shuttle wing leading edge RCC (reinforced carbon composite) for NASA, and developed and delivered certified on-orbit repair methods and tools for Shuttle tile and RCC repair.
