The ESPAD is the structural and mechanical attachment for the External Stowage Platform, which was installed near the airlock on the International Space Station in 2005. Other ISS examples include the flight support equipment for the nitrogen tank assembly, the Video Stanchion Support Assembly (VSSA) and the SHOSS ED.
