The OSS Product Assurance department oversees the management of our AS 9100 and ISO 9001:2000 certified quality management system (QMS). The department includes Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection, System Safety, Reliability, Availability & Maintainability Engineering, and Configuration & Data Management.

- Ensure that safety is a top priority in hardware and software design
- Parallel the design process, evaluating hardware and software for hazard causes, failure modes effects analyses, maintainability and availability, working with designers to provide design solutions
- Perform reliability predictions starting with trade studies, and continuing throughout design iterations to drive our design-for-reliability approach
