OSS provides design/drafting as both a stand-alone engineering service, and as an integral part of our product development process. Our design/drafting group is a talented team with extensive aerospace and commercial experience. We use ProEngineer, AutoCAD, Solid Works, and Unigraphics to produce drawings to the ASME Y14.5M standard for commercial products, and the JPR-8500 standard for NASA products. We also maintain the ability to import, export, and translate and transfer files to and from all popular formats.
Our design/drafting team can take a conceptual design or sketches and develop them into a workable design, generate detailed drawings, and perform tolerance fit checks to ensure proper part fit. Drawings are released and controlled through our configuration/data management department.
